Members provide information about their business to us for listing. This may include personal data, such as your personal email address, if you choose to use this for registration. As part of signing up for a listing, you will be asked to consent to your listing being displayed publicly, and to us sending you e-mails in relation to maintenance of, or public interest in your listing. In order to verify your identity for maintaining your listing, you will be asked to provide a password. We store account passwords in a "salted hash" form, this means we store the result of a mathmatical calculation, and not the original password itself. This means your password will not be easy to identify if a data breach of our systems occurred. Reviewers provide their e-mail address along with their review wording, and a name they consent to be displayed publicly. This e-mail address along with their IP address are specifically captured (in addition to standard web visit information above). This e-mail address and IP are retained in our database, but not displayed publicly. This is to enable contact with the reviewer, should the listing business dispute any comment made, or to enble notification to appropriate legal authorities should inappropriate content be shared. IP addresses are routinely cleared from reviews, once comments have been verified.

If you contact us, we will keep a record of this, and any action taken as a result. This is to help us respond to any follow-up questions, and to ensure we have a record of reasons for actions taken.
